Cocaine doesn't just affect you — private support for when it starts affecting the people you love.
Cocaine rarely announces itself as a relationship problem. It starts quietly — a little less patience, a little more distance, a promise made and quietly broken, a conversation you avoid having. You may still love your partner deeply, but part of you knows the secrecy and guilt are already coming between you. You don’t need the relationship to fall apart first to deserve support.
These are some of the things people quietly notice when cocaine starts affecting the people they love:
“From the outside everything looked fine, but at home I was distant and irritable. Darren helped me understand what the pattern was costing my relationship — and how to change it.”
“The guilt and secrecy were exhausting. I didn't realise how much weight I was carrying until it started to lift.”
“I always thought I just needed more willpower. What I actually needed was to understand the triggers I never saw coming.”
Ready to feel close to the people you love again?
Get Help NowIn sessions, I work with you privately and calmly to understand what has been keeping the pattern alive and begin repairing the trust and connection it has affected.
We look at how cocaine fits into your relationship, your routines, and the situations that put the most strain on trust and connection.
We pinpoint the emotional, social and practical triggers — stress, alcohol, conflict, loneliness — that keep pulling you back.
We create realistic alternatives for pressure, guilt and secrecy, with Client Support Guides between sessions so progress keeps happening at home.
Everything is confirmed by email and there's nothing to prepare. You can choose in-person in Wokingham or online from home.
We talk privately and without judgement about what cocaine has become linked to, and map the pressures and triggers that have been affecting your relationship.
Hypnotherapy is simply deep, guided relaxation. You stay fully aware and completely in control the whole time.
As the guilt and secrecy loosen their grip, you start to feel more present, steadier and more trusting of yourself — many people notice this pattern is closely linked to cocaine and anxiety.
Most people I work with reach out while the relationship still matters deeply to them.
If something about this page feels familiar, we can have a calm, private conversation — no judgement, no blame, no pressure.
Just an honest discussion about what is happening, what is keeping the pattern alive, and what needs to change.
Many people reach out after promises have been broken more than once. The goal is not simply stopping cocaine — it's rebuilding trust, consistency and confidence in yourself.

Cocaine rarely announces itself as a relationship problem — at first it just looks like tiredness, distraction or the occasional short temper. Because the person you love may still function, still show up, still "seem fine" most of the time, it's easy to underestimate how much the secrecy and guilt are already costing the relationship.
The pattern is often kept alive by a cycle of guilt and promise: cocaine is used, guilt follows, a promise is made to stop or cut back, and then stress, alcohol or a difficult week bring it back again. Recognising this cycle — rather than relying on willpower alone — shares a lot in common with weekend cocaine use, where the same promise-and-relapse pattern often plays out.
Certain situations put the most strain on relationships affected by cocaine: stress and pressure, alcohol, tiredness and comedowns, conflict at home, loneliness or low mood, and the pull of secrecy and escape.
Recognising these triggers in advance — rather than hoping willpower will be enough in the moment — is what starts to loosen cocaine's grip on the relationship.
Change does not only happen in the room. The real test is usually afterwards — after an argument, after a stressful week, after an evening when alcohol is involved.
That's why I include structured support between sessions. Depending on the package you choose, you may receive personalised Client Support Guides and session recordings covering craving control, trigger planning, relapse prevention and rebuilding your sense of identity outside the pattern.
Willpower alone rarely resolves patterns that are tied to guilt, secrecy and emotional avoidance — in many ways, this connects closely with cocaine and anxiety, where the same reliance on willpower tends to fall short.
Hypnotherapy works differently. During a relaxed, focused state, we work directly with the associations and patterns that keep pulling you back, so lasting change happens at the level where the pattern actually lives — and the trust and closeness you've missed can start to return.
The things people most often want to know before getting in touch.
